The Neighborhood Empowerment and Wealth Collective, Inc. (NEW) is a dedicated and driven nonprofit movement established by members of our workforce for our workforce. We are focused on addressing the critical housing needs in rural underserved areas in Georgia by developing new ‘price wise’ homes and providing services and resources that foster economic growth in our communities. Through its innovative Kingdom Village development plan, NEW aims to create thriving, inclusive communities that uplift lives, strengthen neighborhoods, and generate lasting positive change for residents by increasing their quality of life.

At NEW, we envision a Georgia where our essential workers, the backbone of America, can live close to where they work, in homes they can afford to own, and in neighborhoods that support their overall well-being and success.
Our Mission
At the heart of NEW’s mission is a sincere objective to empower individuals and families who have been locked out of the housing market and face barriers to economic stability. By developing affordable workforce housing and selling it at below market rates, NEW will provide hard-working residents with the foundation they need to build a better future. The Kingdom Village will offer a diverse range of single-family homes with varying sizes and configurations, ensuring that families can find the perfect fit for their needs and priorities.

To bring this vision to life, NEW seeks to partner with community members, college students, nonprofit organizations, businesses, local governments and county authorities throughout Georgia to increase housing inventory for their workforce affordable housing. By working hand-in-hand, we can create a powerful force for positive community improvement and economic development as we address the housing and financial challenges for working families and build a brighter future for communities overall.
Local governments have a unique opportunity to invest in their workforce by supporting NEW’s Kingdom Village developments. From donating or discounting land parcels and providing infrastructure improvements to streamlining permitting processes and offering tax incentives, they can play an important role in bringing these projects to reality. By doing so, they will validate their dedication to improving the quality of life for their residents, promoting economic growth, and providing the lasting gifts of opportunity and prosperity.
